PharmaCentra Celebrates Leadership Program Graduates

 

Employees complete local leadership development program.

 

Americus, Georgia — May 17th, 2018

 

PharmaCentra, LLC is pleased to announce the recent graduation of four of its employees from the Advancing Sumter Leadership Development program. The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 3nd Annual Legacy of Leadership Graduation & Reception on Tuesday, May 15 at the Rees Park Economic Development Center. The ceremony included graduates from its Advancing Sumter and Chamber Champions leadership programs. PharmaCentra would like to congratulate its employees who successfully completed the Advancing Sumter Leadership Development program: Pamela Griffin, Denisha Kelly, and Alecia Pinckney.

 

Advancing Sumter is a curriculum based leadership development program developed by the University of Georgia’s Fanning Institute for Leadership Development. The program consists of 12-weekly modules covering topic such as, Understanding Community Leadership, Effective Communication, Valuing Community Diversity, Group Dynamics, Conducting Successful Meetings, Group Problem Solving and Decision Making, Managing Conflict, and Building Communities through Partnerships and Collaboration.

 

This marks PharmaCentra’s fourth consecutive year of sponsoring employees’ participation in the program. PharmaCentra Vice President of Human Resources notes, “we find an overall increase in employee morale and dedication through our commitment to our employees and their professional development. In addition, program participants are able to bring back to the work place the skills they are learning and put them into practice in real world scenarios.”
